The students had several demands however their primary demand was that the administration should return the fees of the students taken by the university during the lockdown period.

The Vice-Chancellor of the university promised that demands will be addressed after the syndicate meeting. Finally, on 23 January, after the syndicate decision, DR.Mansoor Kundi announced that dues of the students from march 2020 to February 2021 will be returned to students.

He said that students are the future of the country. Unfortunately, the administrations of the universities are not concerned with their future until students organize and force the universities administration to solve their problems. He said that in countries around the world students are given the opportunities to study, but here in Pakistan the administration always creates hurdles. Further, he said that students will continue to band together and organize if the universities administration fails to solve their problems.
